Affiliate Programs
Affiliates are third party providers of Study abroad. WVU is affiliated with about 13 of these providers, thus increasing your options to study abroad. Combined, they may offer more than 300 programs ranging from short term, long term, research, internships and multi-country options. You can earn WVU transferred credits when studying abroad with the ones affiliated with WVU. In addition to courses and internships abroad, most affiliates include opportunities for cultural excursions, which will enhance your experience outside the classroom. Program costs vary, thus be sure to compare destinations and costs among the affiliates before making the final decision. The program fees are paid directly to the affiliates. Most of your financial aid, student loans and scholarships are applicable to study abroad with the affiliates except the PROMISE Scholarship, which may not be used for affiliate programs.
