Faculty Led Programs
Faculty-Led Programs are short-term study abroad opportunities developed by WVU faculty in conjunction with the Office of International Programs. Students who participate in Faculty-Led Programs receive WVU credit while studying abroad with a group of fellow WVU students in classes that are usually taught by WVU instructors.
The cost associated with each program varies. Students who qualify for federal financial aid, student loans, and WVU scholarships may use their funds toward the cost of the program.
“Faculty Led Programs can be a great opportunity for students studying abroad for the first time. The shorter duration, direction of a faculty member and support of other students help to make it a comfortable environment.”
