Mountaineer Programs Abroad
Mountaineer Programs Abroad are study abroad opportunities developed by OIP in conjunction with WVU faculty, foreign universities and other study abroad organizations. Students who participate in Mountaineer Programs Abroad earn WVU credit while studying with fellow WVU students and other international students in classes taught by international instructors.
The cost associated with each program varies. Students who qualify for federal financial aid and student loans may use their funds toward the cost of the program. In addition, students may also use their WV Promise Scholarship and WVU Scholarships on semester-long programs.
